Now that the holidays are winding down....

maybe I will be more faithful about updating my blog and posting new pictures. There just never seems to be enough time to get everything accomplished while you have time off from work! I did finish two new critters before Christmas to give as presents and the recipients seemed to like them. (either that or they are just real sweethearts about lying to me) I made a bear with a pink sweater outfit for my co-worker Betty and a kitty cat for my co-worker Dawn. I have to say that I was really pleased with the way the cat turned out and now I am making a siamese for my mom. I was going to give it to her for Christmas but the blue eyes I ordered did not arrive in time. So far, these cats have been the cutest thing that I have created. I suppose that isn't surprising since I have been around a lot more cats in my life than bears. : ) Anyway, my next challenge is to make a puppy for one of my cousins. He asked my brother if I would make one for him to put next to his tv. Very cool. More men should embrace stuffed animals if you ask me. So, when I get that little guy made I will post pics of him too. So far I haven't made anything to sell on Etsy but that's alright I suppose. I will get around to it eventually. I'll have to in order to support my mohair addiction.
